How to Workout in a Hotel Room

It has been so good to get back on the road after basically two years off! I am basically back on the road “business as usual” just as we did before COVID-19. It was a novel experience at first, but the flight delays and long dinners brought me back to 2019 quickly!

When I was working from home, I developed a really steady workout routine, but it’s so hard to keep that consistency while traveling. There just never seems to be enough time.

What I find best when I’m on the road, are the “bite sized” workouts that the Taboota Fitness app offers. If I only have 15 minutes or less, I find a quick workout that I can do in my hotel room – usually something rather quiet so I don’t disturb my neighbors. Something like a Core, Stretching, Pilates, or Yoga class on Taboota.

When I have more time – or when I want to go all-out on cardio or need some free weights – I take my phone or iPad down to the hotel gym and play a workout there. Usually I only have enough time to do a >30 minute workout from the hotel gym after the workday.

Everybody is different, but the Taboota Fitness app works best for me!
